The clinic

A second opinion, with thirty years behind it.

Kentuckiana Integrative Medicine is a physician-led clinic in Jeffersonville, Indiana, roughly five minutes across the bridge from downtown Louisville. We treat the patient who has already been through the system once, and who was told there was nothing more to try.

Our philosophy

Coach and quarterback.

Two roles, one physician. The mindset that has defined the clinic for more than a decade.

We are a coach and a quarterback. A coach, because our first job is to help you understand what is actually happening inside your body, the real mechanism, in plain language, without the twenty-minute cutoff. A quarterback, because once you understand the field, someone has to call the play and coordinate the care across every specialist involved.

Most patients who walk through our door have been given a label. A diagnosis, a prescription, and a follow-up twelve weeks out. What they have not been given is the root cause. That is where we start. We listen first, run the labs that should have been run, and build a plan that treats the system, not the symptom.

Dr. Cruz refuses to say "there is nothing more we can do." Three decades of emergency medicine, pain procedures, and regenerative biologics have taught him that there is almost always something more to try. Mind, body, and spirit in sync. That is the clinic.

Giving back

A practice that gives before it bills.

Medicine, at its best, is a vocation. For more than a decade, the clinic has quietly committed a portion of every year's work to patients who could not otherwise afford care, to children through World Vision, and to the team inside these walls.

None of this is public-facing marketing. It is published here because patients ask where their fees go.
