The story

In the patient's own arc.

A stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis is a specific kind of moment. The oncology team lays out a plan. The patient tries to absorb it. Family members start researching at two in the morning. For most patients, that research eventually leads to a question the oncologist cannot fully answer: what else can I do alongside this?

Fay McClurkin came to Kentuckiana with that question. We were never her primary cancer team. We do not treat cancer, and we are precise about that. What we do is support the patient whose body is under the strain of chemotherapy, radiation, and the disease itself.

Her program included high-dose vitamin C, targeted IV nutrition, mistletoe-based support therapies, and regular check-ins to monitor how she was tolerating oncology treatment. Patients on supportive IV programs often describe better energy, fewer side effects, and a more predictable week between oncology visits.

Fay outlasted the timeline she was given. She continued to live on her own terms, attend family events, and make the calls about her own care. Cancer is the hardest fight a patient can be in. The goal of supportive IV work is simple: more good days, more of yourself, for longer.

We treat what others have given up on.

Call for a consultation. Tell us what you've tried, what hasn't worked, and what a better year looks like. We'll tell you, plainly, whether we can help.
