Significant carotid artery narrowing reduced on follow-up imaging after a course of IV chelation and Plaquex.

Carotid artery disease reversed

The story

In the patient's own arc.

Carotid artery disease is one of the silent drivers of stroke. Patients often do not know they have it until a screening or a near-miss event forces the issue. Standard pathways are surgical endarterectomy or stenting for high-grade disease and statins for the rest.

This patient was caught in the middle. Narrowing significant enough to worry the cardiologist, not severe enough to trigger immediate surgery. They came to us specifically for IV chelation therapy, a protocol supported by the peer-reviewed TACT trial led by Harvard cardiologist Dr. Gervasio Lamas, MD, which demonstrated cardiovascular benefit in post-heart-attack patients.

We ran the full chelation course paired with IV Plaquex, phosphatidylcholine, which targets the lipid component of vascular plaque. The patient followed the protocol without complication.

Follow-up imaging showed measurable reduction in carotid narrowing. The cardiologist was surprised. The patient was relieved. Non-surgical options for vascular disease exist, they work, and the evidence is stronger than most patients are ever told.
